06/20/02 - the scientific method - There's no better way to teach the scientific method, than with a practical real life example. A scientific approach to any problem is sure to yield excellent results, a problem such as how to find a date for Friday night. 06/07/02 - indie game jam - What do you get when you stick 14 game developpers and stick them in a room for three days with the simple instruction to design a game based on thousands upon thousands of sprites? This is it. There are some pretty cool game concepts here, complete with source code under the GPL. (indiegamejam.com)

06/01/02 - hexxagon - Back in 1992 Argo Games released Hexxagon, a game similar to Othello or Reversi, and addictive as hell. Now you can play a flash version online, complete with the cool graphics and sounds. Well, not quite all of them (I miss the exploding lightbulb), but it's still quite fun to play.
