11/10/04 - the take - Avi Lewis and Naomi Klein's new documentary tells the amazing story of a new economic force that is gaining strength in Argentina. The movie chronicles the successful drive by a group of unemployed auto-parts workers to reopen a shuttered factory under worker control. Check the "now playing" link to see where you can catch it, and if your city is not listed, talk to a theatre and get them to bring it. The only way for amazing documentaries such as this one, The Corporation, and many others will keep being made, is if we go see them. More information can be found here, including a list of benefit screenings across Canada. (thetake.org)
